Introducing one of my latest projects -- Sakakibara Yasuno 「榊原恭野」.
Yasuno is a young rebel warrior of the Edo period. Trained as a swordsman and Samurai, but left masterless due to his involvement in rebellion organizations. Don't let his pretty face fool you. He is a skillful swordsman and clever warrior. He is very serious and intense by nature, but he also has a dark, poetic side and is usually very unrestrained and destructive with his own life and well-being. He keeps his hair long (tied back) and has random battle scars all over his body.

I am SO freaking happy to finally have a BJD who I can dress strictly in periodic attire!

This guy has been a slow project of mine for such a long period of time...
I actually finished him back when I was on break. Just didn't photograph him until now. (=ω= );;

He is a hybrid, so modding was needed in order to get his head (Elfdoll Vivian) to fit on a DIM boy body. The neck was a bit too thick and long.
Some sanding and dremeling (luckily a friend of mine was willing to do it for me) was required. But overall, the match is damn near perfect!

When I painted him, though...I honestly didn't have a real image in my mind for how I wanted him to look...
But hey, I'm very pleased with how he came out, LOL. Including full body blushing, hands and feet, etc.
I also covered his body in lots of random scars. Including one under his eye.
But I'm still planning to buy him jointed hands soon, once I decide on a company. x__x;
