Yeah, that's right, I jumped on the bandwagon. You can get the template from `fox-orian right here- [link]
So...explanation time. from Left to right, top to bottom.
I've been a Star Wars fan since forever. It's what got me into sci-fi in the first place. More poignantly, Vader and Fett are my favorite characters in the entire franchise.
I've been playing Mortal Kombat since MK trilogy. I love the story, the characters, the atmosphere, the gameplay mechanics, everything about it.
GI Joe. I was in to GI Joe before I was in to anything else, even Star Wars. Unfortunately, it had a half-assed movie leave one hell of an ugly stain on the franchise's legacy. The GI Joe I know and love has colorful characters (literally and figuratively) and the Baroness I know and love is a Russian. GI Joe Resolute was a worthy homage to my generation of fans. I love what IDW has done with GI Joe in recent years, and the new animated series GI Joe Renegades is fantastic.
The Lord of the Rings awoke my interest in medieval fantasy. I've drawn a lot of inspiration from these films in terms of armor and weapon design for Age of Shadows.
Killzone. I've been a fan of the series since the first game came out in '04. I love the story and the gritty realism in the art design. This series is THE BIGGEST influence on Valkyrie's Ride.
Darkwatch helped pique my interest in the Old West and the possibility of using that era as a backdrop for a fantasy story. It is the main influence on Cainaan.
Dos Equis. No explanation required.
Since LotR I've had a growing interest in medieval warfare, especial armor of the late 12th to 15th centuries.
The re-imagined Battlestar Galactica rivals Stargate SG-1 as my favorite sci-fi series. The reason why BSG is up here and Stargate isn't is because BSG, like Killzone, has been a huge influence on Dominion.
The dead guy playing the guitar. It's death metal. See what I did there...
Underworld. It's vampires done right for a change (ok, 30 Days of Night got it right, too). Kate Beckinsale, the most beautiful woman in the world, (silence, your objections are futile) in black leather with guns? Yes please.
Ridley Scott, one of my all time favorite film makers. Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Kingdom of Heaven, Robin Hood...
J. Scott Campbell, phenomenal comic book artist and creator of Danger Girl.
Grant Gould, one of my favorite comic artists. Star Wars, LotR, BSG. You name it, he's done it. I'm a big fan of his Wolves of Odin comic
