Bearer of the fantastical Phoenix Mask, Captain Dapper takes to the skies of Atomos City to defend it's citizens. Kind, brave, and just a little bit thick skulled, Dapper would do anything to protect the city he loves.

Captain Dapper was actually my main character on the much beloved MMO City of Heroes. He was a Fire/ Regen Scrapper. While he isn't part of the world I've been working on, his re/design here is certainly inspired by it. He does have a flashier costume- one that has a fancy gold sash ala Shazam/ Captain Marvel. Indeed, Dapper was HEAVILY influenced by the Big Red Cheese. Dapper also had a Superman inspired counterpart named (gasp) Ascentinel- who I will draw some time. If you're wondering WHY I chose that username over Cap here... well... several reasons, but mostly it felt a bit more iconic. I'm a sucker for portmanteaus (Ascent + Sentinel... see what I did there? (also there IS a fantasy version called The Ascentinel in my world)).
