I sometimes do, though I tend to use different filters now. I believe multiply was one of the filters I used for the shading on this drawing, though.

I would recommend fiddling around with filters and seeing the different effects they can give. I know some people look down on using filters, but I think they are just another tool to use when making digital art. Definitely give them a shot, and also don't feel restricted to using Overlay and Multiply. There are so many cool effects you can achieve through the other filter options Photoshop, and most advanced editing software, give (:

Okay, I will definitely play around with my filters. I think they'd be really useful if I want to make quick doodles and stuff. The only other reason I don't want to use it is so that I don't use it as a way to not learn my colour theory hehehe ^^. Thanks for the advice!
