Can be used nicely in a Karada, for example. Start by hanging the rope around somewhere...1. Put the right end of the rope to the left and under the left end.
2. Fold the right end lying left back over to the other side.
3. Now take the end at the bottom (i.e. the left one) and fold it upwards in between the two standing ends of the rope.
4. Take the end you folded up down behind the junction just created.
5. Now take the end from the right and bring it behind the end you just pulled down and pull it through the loop it created on the left.
6. Pull tight and you should end up with a nice cross.
(7. Turn around and see a nice square on the back side.)
