Here is something quick.There is a painting I really want to start one day and for now I am doing sketches for it. It will look nothing like this drawing I did. But since I have been studding back muscle for some time now this drawing what not a problem for me.. Well maybe the face of the gazelle is a little bit off. But look at that back! Its really something.
Well I hope you people like it.

Great pic, and great idea for a composition. Very active, naturalistic. But, as you are studying muscles, allow me this bit of advice: look at the lion's left forelimb, it is drawn here like a human arm. Quadruped legs are built differently, not so rounded as human limbs. Also, the lion's tail is attached a little high up on the back compared to the build of the hind legs. Just small matters, but I hope this helps a little.

That's absolutely gorgeous. I must have missed this when you first posted it. Lovely job on the shading in the muscles, and just a beautiful piece overall.. Honestly, I'm going to have to favorite this one. The antelope's right hind leg seems to be a tad extended in the thigh area, but I think part of that is due to the curvature of his tail. It gives the illusion that the leg is curving upwards too quickly. Strange, he's almost got a mule-deer hindquarters and an antelope's head. Wonderful piece, in any case.
The only real thing that seems to be off is the antelope's arm dangling over the hunter. It's less shaded than everything else, and seems to be at a very strange angle.. I can't see the alignment to the body. Don't take my critique harshly though, I really do love this piece.
