Keeping in mind that I do love your design, I read the terms and they say "design a t-‐shirt inspired by idealistic,futuristic,imagery prior to the 1970s that depicted what life would look like in the future." I suppose it depends on how you take this but I felt when I read it that the key words in what they were asking for were "idealistic, futuristic" and of how life would look like. They used examples like the robot butlers and "The jetsons". Your design while being awesome (and i would strongly urge them to print this one for the store regardless.) is more like a future war propaganda picture and not really the ideal world of tomorrow. I could be perfectly wrong if your take on the design is different, but that was my initial thought.
I thought I had to clarify my opinion as you seemed to be taken back by what i said. I meant no disrespect and think you have a very solid tshirt design in its own right.

No worries m8, I appreciate your honest opinion. I was going for Conquest of other planets... Most people caught that, so I was just curious as to what you saw. My design is based heavily on retro Join the Army posters...So I can see why you thought what you did...Still think its "Idealistic and Futuristic". I reckon most would consider it ideal to be able to visit other planets...Some would say the same for conquering other planets... But, I don't take offense to what you think. Just politely disagreeing. Thanks for the comments, compliments, and extra response!
