Description
For those not familiar with the man in the second panel: Nikola Tesla, as played by David Bowie, appears in the book and movie The Prestige. In an effort to make a teleportation machine, he instead creates a machine that makes an exact duplicate of something, only some distance away. Apparently, he's been tinkering with it some. This arc ends here; I'll leave it to your imaginations how (and if) any of the "copies" made it back to their original sources.
Coming next week: One of the most cracked out ideas I've had for the Roommates series. More than a little magic will be worked.

Y'know it would be hilarious if Jareth met John (Bowie's vampire character from The Hunger) But that was brilliant!

BAHAHAHAHA! I had a hunch you'd bring Tesla, but I completely forgot about the machine! Excellent!
I like Jareth's hands in the first panel, very well done.

It was eerily convenient how his machine worked into the plot for this arc.

Bowie looked so very dapper in The Prestige.
Question.
How can you beat a movie with Jareth, Batman and Wolverine in it?
Answer.
You can't.

Not at this point, anyway. Though throwing in Butler certainly couldn't hurt.

I loved The Prestige. Especially the icons that popped up afterwards featuring a conversation that goes a little bit like this:
Hugh Jackman: Wolverine could totally kick Batman's ass!
Chris Bale: Gasp! You bastard!
"And so a rivalry was born..."
As a Comic/book-to-movie fanatic, I took special pleasure in these icons~ ... .... even though Superman could totally flatten both of them. T_T

That was truly amusing. Superman could flatten them only if he caught Batman totally by surprise. I think that, with proper planning time, Batman could win almost any fight. Granted, some of those planning times might be longer than he'll ever have, and some of those plans might be "point Superman at it and step back"...
