I am the navy circle of nothing,I am the churning stumble, the whisper,
Sorrow and failure.
I am zero, locked in cold, barren ice,
I am neither here nor there,
Eternally in limbo.
I am the dead wolf in darkest chilled night,
I am unguided, blind, without sight,
My tears don't fall.
I am the empty oak in the hot, arid desert,
I am the organ, keys broken and pipes ruined,
Shattered hopes and broken dreams.
I am the oaken chair, cut and hacked to bits,
I am a hollow soul, carelessness incarnate,
Still letting my friends down.
