I wanted to try a different palette in this style so opted to do a little fanart for a change.

So this is what I imagine a non-capsuleer version of the Velator to be like. The location of things like the boarding hatch and the drone bay was based on the concept art notes. Crew quarters are placed where they are because there are windows there on the 3d ship model. Shape of the fusion reactor is based on the one from the Navy Comet in the Frigates of EVE book. (which also mentions the rail mounted drones used in Gallente ships).

The in-game lore also states that there are rooms where the turret hardpoints are, and these are configured as cabins/cargo space/etc based on what role the Velator is fulfilling.
