LOL this looks like my last airsoft match. but its me and my buddie and he looking at the feild map trying to fine the other teams base and we both have them m4 rifle. But off that topic its is a wonderful drawing and I cant wait to see the chapter of the comic

what i like more about your art is the way you draw facial expressions. you tell us so much with so few lines!

it has a half pleasent but half suspenseful feeling about it that contrasts the horror and peace of the resting. its like one of the parts in a horror movie where the main characters finally get a break and talk.

Nice change of pace, the sort of morbid calm that can rarely be portrayed.
I'd love to see this guy in action, shorts large like this with a lot to show, but still intense and moving.

I'm not sure why, but even with the hardcore grizzle, Milo's face still has a slightly effeminate quality to it. Weird.

That bit with the bird reminds me of 'All Quiet on the Western Front' where in the end, the main character tries to sketch a bird, while he's in the trench.

Love the colouring (like everyone else, apparently), and all the crazy fine details. All the wires criss-crossing over the skyline, and the obvious wear on the walls of the distant in the buildings make the city look like a real industrial wasteland. You've got it down to a fine art, eh?
That said, and please don't take this the wrong way because this looks like an exception to all the other ones you've drawn, the rifle in Milo's hands looks a bit strange. I don't mean to bog you down with unnecessary details, but as I said, you nailed the look of Katie and Daniel's pistols to a tee, so I'd like to just throw this commentary down in case you weren't already aware.
Basically the handguard (the cylindrical cover on the barrel, as seen in Milo's left hand) on Milo's gun is extremely short. Where you've had it extend about a third of the way down the barrel, the real deal goes about two thirds. It's a bit pedantic, I know, but to me it makes Milo's weapon look a bit toy-like. Anyway, the difference is pretty trivial, so keep doing what you're doing. Peace

The whole thing with the bird reminds me of 'All Quiet on the Western Front'. The dude was in his trench and sees a bird above him. Apparently it was the first he'd seen in forever and goes about trying to draw it...
I'm going to stop there in case anyone reading this hasn't seen it. The next part spoils the whole movie for those who haven't seen it yet. (I highly recommend seeing this movie)

I love their poses. The general pose itself seems relaxed, but their expressions are watchful, like they can jump to their feet in a second if those zombies get too close.
