"I miss you all wrong"~A Softer World
This is a very personal piece, which took about 20 hours (give or take). I used myself as a reference, and Shanik ([link] ) helped me with the background reference (thanks again dear)...

I'm drawn to the background - the broken, boarded up window and the torn curtain in what looks like an abandoned house, they tell a story as plainly as the naked, vulnerable woman in the foreground. Love it!

It seems so personal... my parents were divorced when I was small and it hit me very hard because it was so messy... and for its grief it is beautiful

Well, I guess sometimes, when things are broken beyond repair, all we can do is release, and draw China maps on our bodies.

hehe. funny.. my biggest challenge there was the hair. I mean, blond hair is bad enough, with all it's shades, but curls? What was I thinking?! So I'm not happy with it, but glad you liked it

Indeed, the hand is gorgeous, very realistic. I like the light complexion, it looks as if all her blood is drawn away from the skin. And the face is really beautiful, you're a pretty lady
