No not all emos cut themself, but they almost everyone hurt themself in some way.

And music is something very important for a emo, it not music itself what emos listen to are Rock, hard rock, metal, scremo, j-rock, death metal, even rap-rock (there is many times of rock)

Emos are a lifestyle with people that have alot of pain in them and because of that they are usually emotional and not happy.

That doesn't mean that emos can't be happy sometimes, when I'm with my friends I'm a maniac xP

But it also what they like, most emos love anime, dark colors and yes mostly dark or scary things c:
