So, now that we've got the part about your sister's cross-species over with, what are we going to do about us? I mean, I'm just curious how we're going to work this relationship thing out. In truth, you're my first girlfriend, Amles.
(We could both be doing short-comics with them going back and forth sarcastically? Them having their awkward moments along with their snarky and sweet moments?)

W-well, I'm not really used to being around really beautiful girls, so.... I mean, I don't know how this should work....
(I've already thought of some comic ideas apart from their wacky date. I should probably draw those out soon...)

Uhm.... do you think, maybe, there's some kind of all-knowing sage we could go to or something? Maybe he could help us out? But the trail-and-error thing is a great back-up plan....
(I'm trying to take my time. The thing is, sometimes ideas slip away from me really quickly and it takes forever before I remember them again. -_-')

Elodie: Hmm? OH. ALRIGHT! *bounces up at skips towards them*
Amelie: *frowns* And leave the whip :U
Elodie: *pouts* Awww ;n; *drops the whip and sulks to them*

(swallows nervously, grabbing Amelie's hand) It's off to see the royals, the wonderful royals of Lea....
(Once I start a page, I do't stop until its finished. Since I'm working with pencils and without color, I can get a single page done in about two hours.)

Elodie: *as they get to the large gates, she runs up to the intercom and presses a button, muttering into it, and the gates swing wide open. She skips in happily*

*as they walk through the Kingdom, they get to the castle which is in the Town Centre. Near the large double doors are two guards with battle axes. They stand up seeing the 3 approaching*
Elodie: *quickly runs up the stairs and giggles, patting them both on the head* Hiya, Remy! Hiya, Pax!
Remy: *smiles, ruffling her hair* Evening, squirt. *looks past her at Amelie and smiles* Evening, Amelie...*casts a perlexed glance at Caleb*

(swallows as they approach the gaurds, squeezing Amelie's hand) Are they going to.... um, court-marshall me or anything? For making contact with the princess? And why are their axes so huge? (glances nervously at her) And why do you have to be so intimidating? This'd be so much easier for me were we elsewhere.
(I'm a perfectionist too, that's a weak excuse.)

Amelie: *raises her eyebrows and mutters in response to him* Me? Intimidating? Chill out, Caleb. They won't hurt you, they're just like giant teddy bears. *grins and floats forward, tugging him along with her* Hey Remy, Pax. How goes it?
Pax: *grins* It goes well, Miss. *looks down at Caleb and Amelie's hands and looks back up at her* I didn't realize we'd be expecting...a guest, Amelie. I'll inform Anita and the King and Queen.
Amelie: *shakes her head dissmissively* Oh, no no, you don't need ta; we were just on our way to see Ma n Pa anyway.
Remy: *raises his eyebrows* Oh, I see! *opens the double doors* Well, have a good evening, you three. *looks at Caleb and mumbles, barely audibly with a grin* Good luck, Sir.
((The perfectionism bit only makes me take longer than necessary, the laziness is really what prevents me from ever starting/finish anything in good time orz ))

(I can't stand to be lazy. It happens from time to time, but it's an active laziness. I've never been diagnosed with ADD, but I can't stand to be still)

Stop worrying. *she floats in, and lets go of his hand to go to an intercom system on the wall. She presses a button and speaks into it* Ma, Pa, can you come down here for a sec? Vera: *a voice replies after a short delay* Something? Don't you mean someone, dear? But, nevermind. We'll be with you in a second.
*after a minute or two, the Glade King and Queen come down the stairs and walk up to the three*

(turns toward the Glade King) I've always been told that I needed to protect the people I cared about. Ever since I met Amelie, I felt something.... special towards her. I want to protect your daughter, sir, even from myself if necessary. I ask your permission to.... court your daughter....

I appreciate that it must have taken a lot of courage. I am...glad that you seem to care so much about her, but, tell me. Why should I grant you this?

But I can garentee that I will follow through on my word, sir. I would wager that not many other people would do that for your daughter.

Actually, I was wondering if you had a guest hut somewhere? (glances hopefully at the King and Queen) I'd like to spend the night, if that's okay. It gets dangerous at night around where I live, so I don't think I'll be leaving the kingdom tonight.
