omg it's been years since the last time I drew Vegeta. How could I abandon my first love so? Forgive me, Vegeta-sama! ;_;there is something off with the anatomy, but I can't find what it is exactly. Rargh. It's somewhere in the torso, I think, but I can't see it.

I use to really dislike the series until Is tarted watching the uneditted versions. Then I started liking it. I'm not that much of a fan of the art style but it is unique, doesn't look like every other anime out there. XP I still wish it was more ona realisimish side like with art style such as hellsing or Wolf's Rain.
But regardless, you drew him in your own style, hence why I am liking this so much because it's seeing the character in a different style!
I think what bothered me the most was his hair XD that insane ass widows peak of his and the fact his hair stood straight up made his head look way too big. Not to mention a rather disproportionate forehead size in the anime. This looks much better.
I forget doesn't his tail regrow when he hits the SS4/5 transformation? Or does it only appear for that transformation and not show up in any of his other forms? Too bad saiyans can only regrow their tails when they're kids. It normally doesn't regrow in adults right?
And, techniqually the saiyans tails are in the wrong place they're too high up in emergence from the spine. They have them growing out of the Lumbar region of the spine instead of the coccyx region, the reminates of tails in humans. The coccyx still exists in humans because this is needed as an anchoring point for muscles. The base of their tails should be larger seeing as the spine is still going to be thicker at this point as it anchors muscles. As you move down the length of the tail the vertibra would become smaller.
But thats just me picking on the original art style of the saiyan design.
Given how you have him sitting, it appears as though the tail is placed correctly compaired to the anime counter part. It looks as if it's emerging from the center of the coccyx.
I never looked at the DBZ manga you mentioned back in another comment. I must go look at that scene now. >> [XD]
And by the way. I SUCK at drawing human/humanoid anatomy so it looks fine to me!
I like how you thinned him out, it makes his torso appear longer instead of so squat and it makes him in general appear taller. I like characters who have really toned up torsos yet they're not overly muscular [like Armstrong from full metal alchemist or Nappa XP] He's not a total beef cake yet he's not scrawny.
All in all this is an extremely long comment saying why I think he's hot XD. Great job!

ahaha, that's an awesome comment, i feel bad for not having an awesome answer for it. *brainded* I don't remember how or when his tail regrows, I was drawing what appeals to me at the time and didn't try to make it past a certain episode or anything. It's been at least ten years since I was a hardcore fan of the show.

Drawing what appeals to you at the moment is the way to go, means less of a chance of artist block in my experience.
I'll poke through the series and see what happens.

This is so good. Like, so good. The monkey tail makes it almost funny. "Woo, hot Vegeta, oh yeah, sexy steamy Vege-- aww, look at the cute wittle taiw!" (I know he has a monkey tail in the show, I'm not a complete n00b. ROFLcopter lawl.)
I just discovered DBZ today. Well, actually, a comedic parody of DBZ... I'll be sure to watch the original series soon; I can't right now, considering it's 3AM and I want to go to bed...
But that's beside the point, which is the fact that I LOVE VEGETA. :] Great job.
(By the way, is this the random thing wrong with it: his exposed nipple is too far off from the center?)

Though if you're gonna watch the series, can I suggest [link] dragonball Kai? it's EXACTLY the original series, except they cut out all the stupid fillers and the ten minutes an episode of staring at each other menacingly as tumbleweeds drift past and other such ridiculousness. Of course it supposes you've seen the original series first, or at least know enough to understand the basics. Also it hasnt started too long ago,so it's not complete yet. But... yeah. >__>;;
As for the nipple, HMMMM. that could be it. I shall ponder it most ponderously. Thank you.

wow....VERY good. I'ma be a critic. THE ONLY thing that's off is the stomach. The abs are just a bit too round. Don't hit me. I think this is VERY VERY good...WAY better than I can do ^-^. His expression is so adorable
