(( Having been born there I speak it naturally. However, I almost forgot how to speak mandarin due to the fact I lived in Russia for 7 years [Moved back to China yesterday. WOO] and had to learn Russian. /I get BOMBED with RoChu jokes/ If you know what the different symbols for pronunciation mean, then no. For example, take "Hello." The way you are probably used to seeing it typed out as is "Ni Hao." When the pronunciation is spelt "Ní hào." You see the little symbol above the I and A? That means you pronounce it a different way. the symbol above the I means you make the sound higher at the end. For the symbol above the A, that means you make the sound lower at the end. If you learn the diferences between these characters, you will learn it easily.))

((Oh that's cool! One of my friends is learning Chinese, and she told me that the first six moths it was difficult for her, but after learning the characters and some other things it turns out easy. I also wanted to learn Russian, but I don't have a lot of time to get extra classes, at the moment I just know English, French, and Spanish. But I'd either love to learn Chinese, Russian, or German. Lol, people are mean with the RoChu jokes xD Don't worry I get USUK and FrUK jokes from my friends, cus my parents are from the US; my grandpa is from the UK and my grandma from France, so yeah... it's weird xD))
