"Legends tell of a mysterious creature, a shadow that only shows itself to naughty children, and tells them behave like good children, or suffer the consequences. Those who don't heed it's warning are punished severely. So children be good, or the Fibberghast might appear out of your shadow, and pay you a visit when you least expect it."

"It's all a matter of perspective. You do and don't know what you see", it said to me once. That's the legend about the Fibberghast that most people believe, but let me tell you the TRUE legend of the Fibberghast...

"The Fibberghast appears to naughty and troubled children alike, teaching the naughty ones to behave, and consoling the troubled ones. Only scary when it needs to be, it prefers gentler methods of teaching, by playing games, speaking riddles and rhymes, and creating shadowy friends to play with. It is much friendlier than the legends portray it to be, and is not anywhere as scary as they put it. It appears from the shadows, appearing in a guise to those who need a hand on the road of life, doing what it must to get a point across, and then leaving back into shadows to find new children in need of a hand."

When it appeared to me as a child, all those long years ago, it appeared as a shadow clad in dapper clothing, with friendly eyes and smile, a taught me the greatest lesson of my life.

"Don't give up on a dream you strive for, just because someone covers it in mud. Clean it off! Polish it bright! Brighter than ever before! Don't over analyze, just go! I could go on and on... but that's not what I need to do, that's what YOU have to do! Life is full of shining dreams, let yours join in the sparking sky of stars that is peoples dreams!"
