My headcanon design for Tempest Shadow.

After the events of My Little Pony: The Movie, Tempest was sent to become a cadet in the Royal Guard. Her friendship with Princess Twilight Sparkle soon blossomed into a romance, and Tempest rose through the ranks. By the time Princess Twilight became Queen, Tempest was captain of the Royal Guard and Twilight's personal guard. Together, they had one son, Mystic Haze . (Before you ask how, I headcanon Tempest to be a trans mare.)

When their son was young, Tempest Shadow went missing, leaving Queen Twilight to raise their son and rule Equestria single-hoofedly.
