So there are about 4 different versions of this painting. Before moving on and working on anything else I really wanted to nail down a solid workflow that I could replicate.
One thing that’s always bothered me about my art is the inability to reproduce consistent quality art. I probably spent closer to 30+ hours total on this thing, just painting and repainting.
I am happy with the result. It turned out very technical and lacks a lot of life the sketch had, but now that I’ve got some kind of general process down I’m eager to move on to the next character!
