Description

The Robertians and Direct Capetians, from Robert the Strong (c. 830 – 866) to Charles IV of France (1294 – 1328).

It is not known for certain who Robert the Strong's parents and family were, but he was probably a relative of Ermengarde of Hesbaye, the first wife of Louis the Pious. Since all those relations are merely hypotheses, though, I didn't include them. This tree leaves out all the cadet branches of the family to save space, though all of them are marked.
