I agree with uponarazorsedge, the background is a bit too busy for us to pay a whole lot of attention to the details in the foreground. Although, I understand that the figure in the front is rigid due to death, correct? The umbilical cord is a strong accent to what is going on in the piece. Have you ever considered doing tarrot cards? I'd love to buy a set featuring your art.

It is gorgeously twisted and distorted and textured and - and - insane with goodness. Yes.

While it may be nice technique-wise, there is just simply too much going on in the background. There doesn't seem to be any depth and the busy-ness creates a sense of confusion. The figures in the foreground also seem a bit too rigid.
I do like the christ-like figure, and how the two figures in the foreground mimic the "x" behind the cross. Overall I like it, it's just too busy.
