This episode pff haha. Wow, some of those moments had me rolling in laughs. That wrinkled Rarity oh my gosh... And Applejack with the pigs bwhaha, that was fun. Applejack and Rarity always have interesting interactions and episodes as well, so there's that. A bit calmer, simpler day in the life of an Apple.
Also, everything is bigger on the inside.
As for art, I decided to go back to this flat background "figurine" like style again. Have not done that in months, and I can definitely notice some rust here and there. And it's not the pipes. I did leave some stuff a bit messy as well on top of that, though. But overall it was fun doing a higher finished greyscale again. That's the most straightforward part, though. The colouring and adjustments got to me... because at the same time those rely on how you did the greyscale in the first place, the balance of values, contrast, brightness, etc. Which I kinda winged...
Either way, hope y'all enjoy a little simpler episode art.

Vision: This image has a good deal of vision and emotion and hay even My Little Pony believes that Duct Tape fixes everything. I loved this part of the episode and this image brings it right out for us. 3.5 stars.
Originality:This being a take from the show it still as a bit of originality. The artist does a good job at spicing it up for us. 3 stars
Technique: This is a well detailed digital work that does a great job of bringing the scene to life once more. It was a well chosen spot to create a still life of. 4 stars.
Impact: Like I mentioned once already this was a great scene in the episode and the artist adds to the impact with great detail and compassion. 3.5 stars
Overall this is an amazing image and I can't wait to see what else this artist has to offer.

The episode was terrible and that was extremely disappointing because Applejack is my favorite pony. Those new writers had a decent first episode, but this one made me wish they won't have many other ones in this season. 5/10.
Anyway, this is still a very nice picture. I just gotta love handymare Applejack.

Applejack looks great as she uses the magical fix-all tool to save the day. You did an incredible job on the smoothness and getting the depth perfect. It almost looks 3D modeled except for the flair of little details in the textures and shadows. Her expression is fantastic, and the strain of pulling is visible all through her body. As always, thanks for sharing.

Dang people and the overuse of duct tape. It's not magical. I remember a time when I used to wear these same kind of glasses. I still do now but you get tired quickly of wearing those cheap ones. At least she wears some.
In all honesty, she should have cut the steam, let it cool off, change the gasket and then put the steam back on. This repair will become a ticking time-bomb.
