This is the actual look Lloyd has for most of Driven. It takes elements of his original outfit from the pre-MH scene (a few parts of which can be scene in his alternative look) in chapter 1 and blends it with the leather armor from the games. He's also depicted with a second sword on his back, something he gets from a friend in one of the middle chapters.
