For the first few sketches I've mostly been trying to get used the design of the character because only by understanding the rules can you get rebellious and decide which ones to break.

As you can see, Niela is the kind of character who I want to have an "ugly-cute" design, if such a thing exists. And I have this alleged theory that adding more wrinkles to a character's facial features makes said character more creepy but also more interesting to look at.
