A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for Energon Rodimus downloaded from Hasbro's official Transformers website, [link]

Energon Rodimus as G2 Decepticon “Obliterator” Clench (I think he was also called Colossus in some places as well). This was supposed to be a part of a HUGE project I wanted to do, and still do. All the “new” G2 figures, especially the UK exclusive ones, as modern figures. This guy was supposed to be paired up with Energon Inferno as his rival, Autobot “Obliterator” Pyro. I only had half of Pyro finished and I really wasn’t liking it, so it put this one on hold. I have a few more of these UK G2 figures done that I’ll add here, since that project seems pretty gone, but I still really like the idea of doing these G2 guys and may try to complete the various sets some day.

The paint apps on his robot mode chest were my attempt to copy the ones the G1 figure had. I know it looks crappy, but I copied the exact same pattern the original had, only trying to conform it to this new chest shape. I have absolutely no idea what those green lines were supposed to be on the original, and I have no idea what they’re supposed to be here.

Also note, this was the very first (and I think only so far) time I tried using my crappy old Photoshop to add an “effect” to this. I added “noise” to his main plastic color to try and simulate the metal fleck plastic the original toy had. Lemme know if you think this effect works for it so I might use it for future repaints.
