I know, I am, SO funny-
Also, one thing I really love about the genderfluid flag is that there's also the bisexual flag included. And, I just think both flags are really pretty <3

Anyway, if you read my bio, you already know that I'm genderfluid, I use all pronouns, she/he/they/it. I'm kinda forced to use she/her since I'm AFAB and I'm not out yet, but I don't really mind. Would be nice if people referred to me as they/them but not only does my native language not have they/them, I'm not out, as I said.
My mum knows I'm bisexual, and it took her literally three years to go from me accidentally outing myself to openly talking to her about it and being sorta okay with it. Y'know, she gave me the ''I'm not happy about it, but you are who you are'', which to some might be heartwrenching, but to me, it's great.

I tried to educate her on some of the LGBT+ history, we were talking about AIDS and she mentioned how she was taught in school that AIDS are related to LGBT+. So I explained why ''L'' for lesbians is the first letter in the LGBT+. It's because, when gay men were dying of AIDS, lesbians stepped up and donated blood to them, took care of them, and nursed them. I showed her the bone-chilling photograph of the San Francisco men’s chorus where men in white were survivors while the men in black died during the AIDS crisis.

I explained to her why there's no need for straight pride. Because she married dad no problemo, meanwhile I could be killed just because I'm walking down the street.

It was such a weird feeling, for the first time, I was the one educating my mum on the history of the world and not vice versa. I also tried to explain what transgender and non-binary are, but for one our language doesn't really have those terms, and for two, her understanding of what being bisexual means was already too much information for her.

So yeah. Genderfluid? Kinda gay ngl-
