Astral-Requin In reply to mandrac [2013-08-09 05:19:23 +0000 UTC]

Yes, it would be the real "moon" we know. The other nearest, is Pluto. As the story is set 10 million years in the future, I had the idea to say that after several cosmic desconfiguration, Pluto was in our orbit ~

Sad thing is that by then fotosynthesis would no longer be possiple since the sun would be too aged for that...

But this is imagination, to heel with how old the sun is!

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Astral-Requin In reply to GaudiFanYAY [2013-08-09 17:40:31 +0000 UTC]

In fact the Sun would be much larger and hot. In history, Mercury was destroyed by the growth of the sun, and Venus became a volcanic planet. Fortunately, something peculiar happened. Jupiter ignited and became a red dwarf. The Earth and Mars orbit became "Jupiter Star." And also became more distant from the sun. Earth now has two suns. In the drawing above does not show the two are, but there is another drawing that shows the presence of two suns.

The sun just die in 5 billion years.

GaudiFanYAY In reply to Astral-Requin [2013-08-09 17:56:10 +0000 UTC]

Nice story But, how does the night day cycle work then? since we have 2 stars we have a "binary" system of two stars with objects in orbit around both/one of them thus when Earth is between both stars it should have day time on both sides and when it is on the other side so both suns are on the same side we will have a double the amount of heat? Unless both suns are also weak in temperature which I dont think is possiple since the original sun would also be more hotter the bigger it gets

Astral-Requin In reply to GaudiFanYAY [2013-08-10 00:19:01 +0000 UTC]

The sun (Topazius) would be higher, but the small solar system formed by Jupiter (rubinus) It orbits is longer, avoiding the heat of the sun. Rubinus would be a red dwarf, then the climate was balanced, but the types of lightings changed. Only in the "Winter" the stars align having only one night. And in "summer", both sides of the planet would be enlightened.

And I'm sorry if it feels like I'm deconstructing your world, but I really like it and it would be even better if everything is thought through so your world can become even more emersing

Glad to help then xD I cannot remember anything else that has significient meaning by the time your world takes place... only things would be appearience of the celestial objects in the new star system. Foreksample, where is Pluto's moon? and what happened to Jupiters moons? Does thisn has something to do with the new rings of earth?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Astral-Requin In reply to GaudiFanYAY [2013-08-11 19:47:46 +0000 UTC]

By I researched, the moons of planets are passenger objects, they will always change. Moon Pluto probably if lost. The ring on the planet earth is a result of the collision of two moons that orbit it now, before the arrival of Pluto. The moons of Jupiter were charred after ignition.

pluto seem quiet damaged so i might have another theory about it's position

maybe the humans in their industrial madness have brought pluto near earth to mine it intensively like the saturn moon titan in deadspace

Astral-Requin In reply to mandrac [2013-08-10 00:23:15 +0000 UTC]

Yes, it could be an interesting reason. In theory, I did during the millions of years, several planets wanderers tore the orbits of the planets over time. Pluto would be damaged after many impacts of time. The planet Earth now has a ring too, formed after two moons collide.

GaudiFanYAY In reply to mandrac [2013-08-09 13:58:12 +0000 UTC]

The sun would still be too aged for fotosynthesis, the artist wrote that this would take place 10 million, I repeat 10 million years in the future, and unless an event to "reboot" he sun were to have happened, the earth would look way too different let alone have sharks at that point

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Astral-Requin In reply to GaudiFanYAY [2013-08-10 00:27:19 +0000 UTC]

I could put what happened to the theory of vampire star? The Sun absorbed a wandering star, and rejuvenating?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GaudiFanYAY In reply to Astral-Requin [2013-08-19 11:57:21 +0000 UTC]

Sounds logical in a way, however the big problem is that the sun would be very warmer by then, in other words, it would scorch the face of the earth... but that could also have caused the creation of the jupitar sun... which would further secure the creation of your universe but not the possibility for it to exist for a long time to the point where your drawings takes place...why not say that a small newly born star was thrown through space by an explotion and colided with the sun? causing an event that knocked out old material from the original sun and rejuvenated it aswell as lowering it's temperature and allowing for enourgh caos in the solar system for the creation of earths rings, the new location of Pluto and other changes in the solar system?

Astral-Requin In reply to GaudiFanYAY [2013-08-19 21:40:43 +0000 UTC]

Yes, it makes sense. I needed help in these astronomical terms, thank you. A doubt, the constellations of the zodiac will be dismantled after long and 10 million years? I think many stars would have died and been born.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GaudiFanYAY In reply to Astral-Requin [2013-08-20 09:20:32 +0000 UTC]

Yes, Not many of the zodiacs of today would remain the way they are as thay are now. The biggest star in the constalation Orion is about to go into a nova, and the star next to it will take over but the constalation will be changed.

GaudiFanYAY In reply to Astral-Requin [2013-08-20 09:42:28 +0000 UTC]

No, it will first be after billions of years something like that would happen. And that galaxy will be Andromeda.

Oh, interesting. Another question, I was thinking that if the sun warm, the chemical composition of the gas planets would change, hence their colors and visuals change? For example, different spots on Uranus appears, its color is different from blue, etc..

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GaudiFanYAY In reply to Astral-Requin [2013-08-20 11:19:57 +0000 UTC]

In order for life to still be on earth we must asume that the combined output of the sun and the Jupitar sun would be the same as our current sun, however since that uranus, neptune and Saturn would occasionally be closer to the Jupitar sun I'd say they would only change colour when that close, but return to normal with exposed to the normal heat, how ever when they are furthest away from each sun as possible they would proberbly be change to a 3rd look since they are now much more colder. I supose that Neptune would appear allmost lightblue with white cloud stripes on it when closest to both suns, appear nomral when exposed to the heat it is now and darkblue with hints of purple ring clouds on it when furthest away from both suns. As for Saturn Id say golden with iceblue rings whehn closest, normal when exposed to normal heat and darkbrown with darkblue rings when furthest away. Finaly Uranus would be luish bright emerald coloured with white rings when closest to both suns, normal when esposed to the current heat and darkbluegreen with blue rings when furthest away from both suns...I do not think that Uranus would have spots on it since all the remaining gas planets has ringbased colour pattern on them (Kinda like Jupiter but with less difference in colouers)
