here again, we have an example of william's artistic vision. william wasn't actually inept, when it came to conceiving attractions or unique forms of entertainment. while henry is more child-friendly in his designs and sensibility, william leaned on the darker, more mature sides of things. when he was allowed to explore his ambitions to the fullest, he could actually pull together an interesting vision, albeit an unconventional one by most children's standards.

after the bite of '93, william and henry's fairy tale dinner theatre experienced a downturn in profit and attendance. to counteract this, they rebranded the resturaunt to freddy fazbear's pizzeria, and the resulting work got william thinking. in the past and even during this rebrand process, multiple different companies and affluent individuals contacted william asking for commissions of animatronics. people recognized that while henry smoothed out a lot of the rough edges in the design process and was good at making an immersive experience, william had the technical knowledge to make things come to life in the first place. that, and he did have his fair share of good ideas; after all, william was the one who conceived freddy fazbear, who went on to supplant golding bear as the company's mascot.

while feeling validated and emboldened by the business opprotunity, william chose not to act on these requests for some time, as he still had a friendship with henry then and didn't want to step on his toes. during the rebrand, william worked up the courage to ask henry his thoughts. henry, who was equally as affected by the bite, assumed william was leaving the company and overreacted hearing the news. once william explained his thoughts to him, henry was quick to apologize and let william do his own thing, but the damage was already done. cracks began to form in their partnership which only grew into chasms as the years went on.

as a result of these cracks, william made animatronics that were new but also riffs off of some of he and henry's ideas for freddy fazbear's. to avoid controversy and to flex his artistic muscles, william created a set of animatronics the same species as the main band, but acting as... mostly different characters. mostly. the four seen here are coney, arthur, reynard, and lidian.

mangle was molded from the same cast as reynard and funtime chica is actually part of the sister location animatronics in this au, as the events of freddy fazbear pizza simulator occur inside of a game the company later makes to profit off the spooky animatronic happenings. she is the only ffps who is carried over into the main canon; everyone else are characters designed strictly for the game.
