Aaaand here she is in color! The trickiest part was probably deciding what color to make her shirt. Wanted something that wouldn’t clash with her natural colors too much but still stuck out in a pleasing way. Decided on a light red since I think it pairs well with her orange coat. Tell me what you think; is our favorite farm pony as fashionable as she is strong?
I gotta say, this was a lot of fun to work on. Definitely gave me some good practice with anatomy and posing as well as figuring out how I want to shape my art style. Also, I really like drawing a variety of body types and one of my favorites is muscular females, which I think works pretty well for Applejack. Fair warning, expect me to try it out with other characters *cough* Dash and Spitfire *cough*. But that’s for another day...
Anyways, I hope ya like it! Still got a lot to learn obviously, including with my actual coloring abilities. Comments and critiques are very much welcome and appreciated. I’m eager to hear what you have to say about it!
