This was piece that was inspired by a random art prompt I got. I ended up coming up with a religion/story for them. Here it is!

When the Universe was created, many Dragons began to inhabit it. Two of them, a Sun Dragoness and a Moon Dragoness, fell in love. They spent many millennia happy together, but one was jealous. The Dragon of Creation, he grew bitter that he could not find love like they did. So, when the Dragonesses came to him for help to create an offspring, as they could not make one on their own, he gave them what they wanted, but with a twist. The egg made of Earth that he gave them had another spell on it, it cursed the Dragonesses to no longer be able to touch, be near, or communicate with each other. They are forever cursed to revolve around each other and the egg that they always wanted. However, the spell may not be as eternal as the Creation Dragon wanted. It is said that some day, the Egg of Earth will hatch, and free the Sun and Moon Dragonesses from their prisons. It is also said that, once they reunite, the three will celebrate with dances of beautiful nebulas and cosmic auras. However, until that day, the Dragonesses will be stuck in eternal orbit, but even so, their love holds strong.
