I did this last night in about 20-25 minutes. There are a lot of things I don't particularly like about it (like the hand, her back, the bracelet) so I'm still messing with it. But I thought I'd share. I worked off of a photo reference ([link] ) of a friend of mine, but I changed a lot of things. Done in Open Canvas.Related content

Oh, wow, that's really pretty. I love her expression, and all of the ruffles on her dress. And the way you drew her hair is really cute. She looks less innocent than usual, which is an interesting change.

That's an ambitious position, even if you did have a ref picture ^^. I really like the skin tones in this -- you seem to have a good grasp on when it should be warm in tone. You exaggerated it, but that just adds to the interesting nature of this sketch. I like the edit you made in the direction of her eyes, as that makes it so much more Usagi-ish. But one of the things I find really interesting about the photo is the semi-sheer nature of her dress. You can see the tops of her legs through the fabric, and it would be REALLY neat-o if you could add that in your drawing.
