Description
This picture was done last year for 'Digital Painting 2' book.Since the book was published so I can show it to you all now~
My concept is the caffeine-addict girl with the coffee-feeding machine (coffee for every hour!). This idea click my mind during sleepy morning in my old office.
The book is awesome,too. A great collection of Thai artists. LOL

I ABSOLUTELY love this. It's like the embodiment of me on a lazy winter day. I love the warm tones you have everywhere here and now you managed to wonderfully contrast that with your girl's clothes. She looks - especially about the eyes - psychedelic instead of sleep-deprived, really. And it's an awesome way to portray a pretty young girl who just happens to love her COFFEE! Also, I have to say, I LOVE the faintly steam-punk vibe I'm getting - even if it likely isn't really steam-punk.

The colors are so alive. And the way its drawn moves your eyes around letting you see everything. And her eyes are fa nominal. Great detail. I love it.

As I was reading a comic I read every Sunday, I found a link to "30 amazing manga artwork" or whatever it was called. I took a look and found a lot of work by obviously pretty talented artists. But only a few pictures got my attention. And this is one of them.
I didn't really get what it was about and read the description under it just now. But what caught my eye was the girl's look which seems somewhat sly or devilish. Also, she seems rather attractive, interesting, different with her relatively short red hair, clothes and when so much of the legs are being shown. Then there's also the confidence, relaxation, casuality that she radiates as she's stirring her cup. And the background details (a soft seat, the book "Oblivion of Sleep", scattered cups, tidy cups with roman numbers, the fancy steam from the cup, shadows, metal, some things turned to the side) mixed together and with the warm colours and lighting give it a feel of magic, mystery, fantasy, dreams. Looking at this picture, I was inspired to write a novelette.

I really like this. It's nice and calming, and I love how you have those bags under her eyes. Most people would forgo a detail like that.
