The Nobodies video comparison has been coming up a lot, so I'd like to clear that out - yes, the drawing is inspired by it. It's one of my favorite videos.
As for the movie Pan's Labyrinth - I totally love it and although I wasn't inspired by it exactly, I can take comparisons only as a compliment

It's a pencil drawing with digital colouring. I don't remember how much time it took, probably around 5-6 hours.
