I always wondered why the writers of the original series never wanted Gohan to exert his powers to it's full potential... He always seemed to hold back. I thought the fight with Cell would have solidified him as the strongest of the saiyans, but he sort of regressed once Dragon Ball GT got going, and Pan entered the arc. I could be wrong though... once GT ended, I stop following the anime.

Adult Gohan is my favorite character from the show. Looks like in Dragonball Super he is back to his Mystic form, too
