Okay, let me just say, THIS, is a clever, original character! Mattel was actually using their heads for this one! (No really)Appearing exclusively in the book "Thomas and the beanstalk", She was first mentioned by Thomas whilst telling the other engines the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. Thomas crashes and dreams(?) he is in the story, meets the Golden Steam Engine, who is being held prisoner by the Giant and Diesel 10, and helps her escape back to Sodor.
This engine is based on a Pennsylvania Railroad class A3 static.wikia.nocookie.net/loco… but with no tender, and a cab and coal bunker like Manning Wardle L Class 0-6-0ST (Charlie & Billy's class, which is why I used his model to make her)
The story makes it ambiguous whether she actually exists in the Thomas universe or not. Just when Thomas woke up from his crash, he recalls his adventure, then his driver finds a lump of golden coal in his bunker, which she had let him use. She might've just ran away the split second she touched the ground rails....
