So... more United Paws history lessons! This time we'll be talking about the Munich Agreement. First of all, on this drawing we've got (from left to right): Honore, Ferdinand, Enzo, two still unnamed representatives of Czechoslovakia and Bailey , who is holding the Munich Agreement.
It all happened back in 1938. The Munich Agreement was an agreement between France and Germany, and it allowed Germany to occupy the "Sudetenland" (that was the name for the northern, southern, and western parts of Czechoslovakia which were inhabited by Germans). Germany said that this is the last area it is going to claim, and all the other European folks were like: "Okay, let's give Germany the Sudetenland, and we will finally have peace!"
But they were wrong. So wrong.
In 1939. Germany forced Slovakia to declare independence, and Czechoslovakia was literally torn. The next country which is going to be attacked by Germany is - Poland.
And then World War II is going to start ^w^ I can't wait to write a history lesson about that!
