=Doubtful-Della graciously commissioned me to draw her parents.I love this pic; they're so young and obviously madly in love.
(Doesn't Della look exactly like her beautiful mother??)
And I'm honored to say they liked Della's choice of anniversary gift. ^__^

Wonderful. I love the smooth skin tone you always get. That and hair. I can never get those. I think it's because I don't have the patience.. I'm a fast draw-er

One thing I generally do to add a bit of smoothness to skin is after sketching with a pencil I'll go over face and/or arms with a sable brush. Just a light brushing can really smooth out a skin area.

This is lovely. It takes a lot to not only illustrate from a photo, but actually infuse an essence or emotion into it, which I really get from this picture. You really captured the moment well...and yes, she looks exactly like her mother. XD I'm not sure if Della wants to hear that though (most children don't want to be anything like their parents.) Very nice work.
