Description Cactusclan is located inside of the debris of an old and forgotten pyramid created long ago. More than likely, it wasn't even completed in its creation, considering how small it is already. Perhaps it was a test pyramid before the larger and vaster structures. The map of the Cactusclan camp can be confusing! Especially since it consists of underground tunnels and mazes that suit the needs of the underground dwellers! Most of the tunnels are hard to navigate and require a lot of climbing and agility to get through, but in the camp itself, where all of the dens are located, its easier and less of a difficult ascent, more ramp-like passages rather than rock climbing walls. Don't be too frightened, though, the majority of it is easy enough for each cat to complete on a daily!

1. The Entrance
The Entrance is a large and gaping hole that leads to a near plummet into the ground of the clearing. Though the size of the hole gets smaller and smaller, thus deterring larger predators from coming inside. Occasionally still, snakes or smaller rodents will enter. It only makes catching them easier in comparison to the outside hunt. The Entrance is by far the most difficult climb in comparison to the rest of the clan, but it only makes it more safe for the cats of Cactusclan

2. The Shaman's Den
This den is exclusive to the medicine cats and their patients. Since they live underground in such close quarters, they've found it more efficient to have the den on the outer level, above ground, but still shielded by the pyramid. It's also a more assessable location for those who got injured on the field, whether in battle or in a hunt, they won't have to travel all the way down to the camp in order to be healed of their wounds. Not to mention the fresh air and availability of herbs for the medicine cats.

3. The Exit
Not always used as an exit, this small hole in the Shaman's den is an easy entrance and exit in case of extreme conditions. Whether it be easier for a wounded warrior to enter through, or there's a predator inside of the camp, they are able to sneak through without having to try their strength by going around to the main entrance.

4. The Clearing
The Clearing is the first open space in the clan, though not really a part of the camp. It is mostly used for a discussion area, where the cats of Cactusclan will plan patrols or simply talk amongst themselves. They also use this space for food storage. Since they are accustomed to big game hunting, which isn't the easiest to get down to the camp, they will leave them in this open space for others to pick around. Warriors and Apprentices will give the prey to those lower in the camp, like elders or nursing queens, and also to those in the sick bay if the medicine cat hasn't tended to them already. Of course, food can be brought lower, but it is more accepted to have it on the higher level in the clearing, to hopefully deter predators from going any lower into the camp incase they do ever sneak in.

5. The Golden One
This smaller den, closest to the entrance and first one in the camp, belongs to the Golden One. Typically it houses the Golden One and their mate, if they do have one. They can choose to sleep alone, but most do not for fear of loneliness.

6. The Wise One
This den is typically where the deputy sleeps. Although it's slightly smaller than the Leader's Den, it is the most guarded. With a large stone front and only a small gap to climb in from, it is one of the safer locations in the camp. Inside it is large enough to support two cats, typically the deputy and their mate. But they can choose to sleep alone, also.

7. The Overhang
This slightly tight location is where the Golden One makes all announcements for ceremonies and directs the clan.

8. The Apprentice Den
This is where the trainees sleep. It is a slightly rigid den, but it provides mostly character, in being able to support themselves on such difficult ground whilst sleeping. At least that's what most mentors say.

9. The Elder's Den
The smallest den in the camp. Though it's small, it's able to hold several elders inside. It's one of the more comfortable living arrangements, as Warriors and Apprentices will come and bring down flowers and foliage to decorate their nests and the walls of the den. It's said when an elder dies and no one remains, still they hang up the foliage, in order to solidity respect for those who have past and make a comfortable environment to those who are to retire.

10. The Warrior's Den
This is the largest den, as it holds the most amount of cats at one time. Its a flat ground and a comfortable location with easy access to the exit. Though it is only in use during the night time, and even then, not everyone sleeps. It is never a full den.

11. The Nursery
The farthest den from the entrance. It is also the tightest entrance to get through, which can be difficult for an expecting queen. So most of the time, the queens will stay inside of the den once they've heard of their pregnancy. It can be tight and difficult, especially with a lot of kits, but it is safe and warm and comfortable for a queen and her kits.

12. The Prayer Room
This location is by far the most sacred. It holds all of the remnants of Egyptian life before them, material things. Some of it was found along hunts, most of it was already here upon the cats arrival many moons ago. It holds gold, feathers, sometimes flowers or foliage depending on the condition. Almost never any prey, as they don't want it to rot down there and displease the gods. Most time its used for prayer and ceremony, but some times it can be used for celebration.

13. The Gold Room
Information about this room is sacred to the trials. Only the cats who have passed and are going through the trials may know the information about its location and how to maneuver it. Still, rumors about it circulate through kit and apprentice circles.
