Entry:
Beautifowls were imported to the Tupama region from a region near Kalos, as a gift to cheer the fugitive little princess. They have a keen eye for elegant arrangements and color combinations, being employed as assistants in the fashion industry. They are very proud pokémon, refusing to even look at those it considers less beautiful than itself. It was a custom for nobles to throw balls in which Beautifowls were a main attraction and all admired it’s shining feathers.

-Dandyfowl -> (Lv. up while holding a Pretty Wing) -> Beautifowl-

Potential Moveset:
Dazzling Gleam
Roost
Startling Fan
Mean Look

Gotta give those pretty wings a purpose, am I right? A genius idea from a friend of mine

Also, my brazil-inspired region finally has a name! The Tupama Region! I'll share more details about the region itself, it's history and how trainers and the league works in the future. I still have to make a map of it and stuff.

Beautifowl's description does tease a bit of the region's history a little, which I'm not going to fully explain here, I'll have to leave you guys hanging on this one for now, but it was indeed first brought up as a present from Kalos to the "left-behind" princess which governed the Tupama region.

This was supposed to a mirror a moment in the history of Rio de Janeiro, which was completely reformed during the 20th century to make the city look more modern by the standards of the elite of the time. And by modern, that basically meant making the city look a lot like Paris and lots of French influence in general. New theaters and museums, wider streets... They even brought pigeons (which were not common in the city at that time) from Europe to make the city look more like Paris. Beautifowl kinda represents that, and is inspired by the nobility and aristocracy in general, with "Noblesse" referring to the french aristocracy in specific. The region itself will have a lot of pokémon and elements which in-lore were brought from other regions, just like kalos with this one, so more fakemons like this one are sure to come.

Well, hope you all liked it, and see you guys next time!

...Crap...
...Well, I COULD put it as a HA, but since accuracy isn't a thing on the metagame... Nah. :^)

Wow, I had the idea for a Peafowl Pokemon myself! But yours will be 1000000% better than mine.

Don't be so defeatist, I'm sure it will turn out great!
Just go for it and have fun designing it!

Thing is...the Pokemon that evolves into my fan-made Peafowl Pokemon evolves the same way yours does. By leveling up with a Pretty Wing. Though I had that thought for a couple months. So I'm afraid that it may look like plagiarism

I am getting the designs down (and may be able to finish and upload them before I work today) so I'll show you as soon as their done.

Well, as I mentioned, I'm not even the one who came up with Pretty Wing idea, it was a friend of mine on the last minute just as I was posting this, and I love it because it makes perfect sense for it, it's a peacock after all, and give purpose to an otherwise useless item! It's just an evolution method, if anything, these ideas should be shared among fakemons artists. Nobody has ownership over any of the ideas behind it, just the drawing. After all, we are constantly already ripping stuff out of the official games, am I right?
But, yeah, I hate when I have some idea in my mind and then something pops up and it's exactly what I have envisioned, it happens quite a lot with me...
I had a idea for an enemy design for a project of mine, and this week I saw a game that had exactly what I had in mind as boss. What a bummer.

So don't worry and go for it, I'll be glad you see it once you're done!

Wow~, I love this Fakemon!

I wish I could be as creative as you and other Fakemon artist/creators, it's very hard for me
to do anything like this and stick with it, especially since I'm afraid of using an idea that someone else already did.

Examples: Peacock (Yours and another Fakemon I saw on a Youtube video [It was Ice-Fairy]), Cat (I've seen a lot of Feline Fakemon), etc.

Oh geez, thanks!
Well, it's all a matter of practice in the end, and really, creativity for this kind of thing boils down to just have a bunch of references of animals and concepts in your head.
And don't ever be afraid to do something just because someone has already done it before, no one has ownership over any idea, so even if you're making the same concept as someone else, it doesn't matter as long as the execution is your own. There's also always someone out there who will do it better, so if we were to concern ourselves with it, we would never do anything at all, am I right?
In the end, just practice, collect some references, have fun and go wild!
