Rarity makes such an awesome badass. One second she's a lady of posh and elegance, and the next second she's wooping out surprise martial arts seemingly out of no where. I'm definitely going to have to check out this fanfic ^_^

Okay. In a nutshell, the dark force that corrupted Luna into Nightmare Moon returns, and with it comes the discovery that it has ties to the alien Vok that menaced the Transformers on Prehistoric Earth. A series of events causes a rift between worlds to open, sucking in the Predacons and two Maximals and landing them in Equestria. The ponies must now deal with the threat of both the Nightmare and the Predacons while learning to work with their new Maximal allies.

The Beast Wars Transformers are relatively human sized, so they're a better match for ponies than any other TF series.
As much as I loved the Starscream vs Rainbow Dash battle, I have to completely disagree with that, for reasons of scale. Starscream would lose, yes, because he's a weak coward and vulnerable to RD's weather powers, but a three foot tall pony is not going to beat a 30 foot tall robot made of alien metal. Just ain't happenin'. :/
