Inspired by a picture by Ayumi Kasai: [link]Another result of my AP Studio Art class, omg that class is so stressful... >_< this picture ended up taking WAY more time than it was supposed to, i wanted to try a new style, but markers are very unforgiving OTL the overall result was satisfactory, i guess, but i ended up spending so much time on it that i dont like the way it looks anymore, it looks rushed and messy. poop. oh well, i wanted to make a picture with a ton of different colours in it, so i chose to do a picture like this : D I hope you like it <3
done with crayola markers (and a few prismas)

Well, the land of beer and cheese? come on! everybody likes beer, and everybody likes cheese! it's a great city... I live in Sao Paulo, is like the economic center of Brasil, it's pretty cool here, but it's like the land of the environmental polution!
Anyway, maybe u repaired i'm not really good in english, so i'll probably write millions of wrong words, so please i'd like u to correct me, if thats okay for u...

The way i really learned how to draw was I would copy the pictures that i thought were really good and i learned that way. When you just looks at a picture, you dont really learn how it is made until you try to make it yourself. So i took pictures that i thought were really good, and copied them. Thats really how i learned perportions and face shapes, and eye types and all that stuff. You just have to play with different styles and see which ones work with you best and which ones you like best and are easiest etc. You never really stop learning, so i guess that means you could be my pupil forever, lol. as i keep learning, you keep learning, and we keep learning forever and ever... haha. wow, its really late o_O im getting loopy XDDD
ooh! You're brazilian?? I have a friend at school who's brazilian, she has a really thick accent and speaks it to her mom over the phone, is it close to spanish? and dont worry about grammer and words and lame stuff like that, i cant write or spell for beans, and i can understand what you're saying so yeah, whatever, I hear english is the second hardest language to learn, so i give mad props to anyone who is willing to learn it as a second language, i can barely conquer spanish, baaah >_<
yeah... im not old enough to drink beer, it smells funny, but i absolutely LOVE cheese, omg, it's the best stuff in the world, im not gonna lie. mmmm!!

Brazilians speak Portuguese, which is similar to Spanish. I've been able to use my Spanish to talk with people who spoke Portuguese, but it was hard.

Gorgeous! There is so much rich detail and so many beautiful, bright colors! I wouldn't say it looks rushed at all, in fact the detail is ... wow...
If you want better contrast I'd suggest darkening your shadows and using darker colors with the background objects to pull your characters forward. But... you seem so talented, you probably don't need my advice ^^ Anyway, this is stunning! *trots around to look at the rest of your gallery*
