Oratorio - A Whole New World God Only Knows

Ok, let's talk about this stuff!

First of all: Aura's Chronics is the project i'm currently working on.
Aura is the isolated world with six (i hope) unique races: gaele, pixie, dragon, valkyrie, uri, haku.
Here are 4 representatives of them. And also main characters of the story.
But let's talk about races first. As long as here are only dragon, pixie, valkyrie and uri - i'll tell you about them.

Let's start from Terra. He's the main-main character of the story and he is a dragon. Dragons is a race of element-benders. Wind, fire, earth, water, shadow/darkness, light etc. - who knows how many elements world has? XD That's pretty simple isn't it?

Then goes Shion. He's a pixie. The spiritual race that possess the power to turn unseen aura into fire-looking material. The pixie's wings are the place where these powers concentrate. Pixie can't create anything from that spirit but can use it through any sort of 'conductor'. Like Shion - he uses his shotguns in order to use his spirit power as bullets. Gah~ it's hard to explain, hope you got it...

Tsuna-Mi is an uri. It's race of technopathist. Technopathy is a ability to communicate with the machines and make them do what you want. Kinda simple explanation, but eh... you all know that right? The one difference is that uri also can create machines without even touching materials. Though it takes time and strength...

And, finally, Capella. A valkyrie race possess a great physical strength. Not that big of course, they can't move mountains, everything has it's limits, but still... valkyries are strong. One more simple explanation, huh...

Now, let's talk about some elements you may find not understandable after reading about characters.
First one - names. Have you noticed or not, but there's something common in the Terra's and Tsunami's names... and in Capella's and Marcato's (her father). No? Everything is simple: dragons used to give their people names that have relation to nature and elements (more rare to animals and flowers/colors). And valkyries have names that have connection with music.
Second one - Dragon War. It's the time as already was explained on the picture, when other races chased and killed dragons until their population reduced to a very small amount of people. Why other races did such a horrible thing? They said that dragons are evil and must be eliminate. But that was a lie. The real reason? I won't tell you... hahahaha! XD
Third one - Grand City. It's the biggest city on the continent. It's a special territory where all five (not counting the dragons - they're not welcomed in big cities) races live in peace... kind of.
