Description Another member of the Thirteen Primes, today! And this one is Solus Prime, the first female Transformer!!!

I gave Beyondverse Solus Prime hair, based on a design of Solus by AlphaPhoenixStudio .

-

Overview: Among the Thirteen, Solus Prime is the Maker and creator. Among her friends she is much loved both for her abilities to forge nearly any device they need and for her intelligence and positive supportive personality. All female Transformers are patterned from her template and thus are gifted with a similar processing architecture, which is the main differentiation between them and their male counterparts. Many of the arsenal of magnificent weaponry and icons wielded by the other original Transformers are her impressive handiwork, created with her own icon, the Forge of Solus Prime.

Personality: The creator, Solus Prime was a calm and confident person who was beloved by all of the other Primes both of her positive and intelligent support as a friend and also for her ability to create instruments and objects of any kind-something she would readily do for any Prime who asked her. This led to her having close friendships with Nexus Prime, Micronus Prime, and Onyx Prime who revel in similar pursuits. Her closest relationship, however, is to Megatronus Prime. The two are bound by a close devoted romantic love unique among the Thirteen, and spend much of their time online and off rejoicing in each other's presence. However, she had a fierce temper and was easily angered by anything that smacked of injustice, as Prima and Vector Prime before her.

Weaponry/Equipment:
  • The Forge of Solus Prime: The Forge of Solus Prime is a hammer that's the symbol of office of the master-artificer of the Thirteen Primes. Utilizing the power of a miniature neutron star at its very heart, the Forge operates through the convergence of magic and science. It is not known just how powerful the forge is, but it is believed that it can be used to make anything out of anything, with the possibilities only being limited by the skill and knowledge of the Prime wielding it. The forge was used to craft many of the other artifacts of the Thirteen, and is noted to be one of the few things which could craft the core components of a Cybertronian body from scratch. The Forge of Solus Prime would serve as the inspiration of the War Hammers wielded by the members of the Magnus Corps.
  • The Creation Lathe: The Creation Lathe is a holographic lattice that can summoned by the wielder of the Forge of Solus Prime. Designed to be wielded alongside her famous Forge, the Creation Lathe allowed Solus Prime to design the architecture and components that her vast, supernatural smithing efforts might require. The Lathe supplied the vision behind the strikes of the Forge, allowing her to create the Artifacts of the Primes.

Abilities:

  • Forgemaster: Solus Prime has unique cognitive systems specializing in wide-ranging and powerful parallel processing, allowing her to create many useful weapons and items for her siblings with her Forge and Creation Lathe.

Weaknesses: If not calmed down immediately, Solus's fiery temper can lead to her committing actions that may cause some issues down the road.

Bio: Solus Prime was the fourth Prime created by the AllSpark through the will of Primus. Over many eons, the Thirteen Primes ruled prehistoric Cybertron benevolently; Solus became known for her friendship with Megatronus Prime and her endless creativity, using her Forge and Creation Lathe to build the collection of weapons, artworks, and scientific devices that compromised the "Artifacts of the Primes." Solus even commanded the loyalty of a Titan, Caminus. In time, however, Unicron would escape from his prison within Cybertron's core and plotted for his revenge against Primus.

During the years leading up to the Unicron Battles, the Primes were tasked by Primus to train the Cybertronian civilians into full-on warriors, who would eventually become forever known as the Knights of Cybertron. As the builder and creator of the Thirteen, Solus opted to remain a free agent as the newborn Primes strategized for their upcoming battle against the Chaos-Bringer. As part of their training, Solus created a holo-suite, which contained a virtual copy of Unicron for the Primes to train against. The Primes quickly learned that their enemy was more than capable of trouncing them in direct combat. During this time, Solus and Megatronus would become closer than ever before, eventually becoming romantic partners. At Megatronus's urging, she constructed his artifact, the Requiem Blaster, a weapon that she considered virtually unstoppable. Doubtful at what she had created, the Requiem Blaster led to a heated debate amongst the Thirteen, with Liege Maximo pointing out that the moody Megatronus could easily turn on his brothers and become unstoppable. Solus Prime defended Megatronus, arguing that Megatronus Prime-who had successfully resisted the temptation of his inner demons-was perhaps best suited to carrying the destructive weapon. Megatronus was proud of her speech, and Solus continued to churn out new weapons and artifacts for her brothers, working closely with them in order to mimic some of their innate powers. Continuing their training, Solus Prime worked with Quintus Prime, Micronus Prime, and A-3 (later known as Alpha Trion) to use Vector Sigma to predict all of Unicron's potential moves in the incoming battle.

Eventually, the time came to launch an assault on Unicron himself. Wielding her Forge and a sword, Solus led the charge through Vector Prime's dimensional gates and onto Unicron himself. After The Arisen used the Creation Matrix to defeat Unicron seemingly once and for all, the weary but triumphant Primes headed back to Cybertron. Unbeknownst to them all, Unicron's presence had left them all a little more susceptible to their inner darkness.

In the era that followed, Solus continued to work at her Forge, building useful items for the burgeoning settlement of the Primes. Solus and Megatronus remained close to each other. In time, however, some of the Primes grew arrogant due to Unicron's influence, and sought to preserve their hold on power by claiming that they were functionally immortal: it was falsely claimed that only a Prime could kill a Prime. This led to the Primes undergoing a mission of colonization and aggressive expansion, sending fleets of Titans to colonize distant worlds and cyberform them, killing off their original inhabitants. During this time, Solus colonized a moon of a gas giant that she named after her partner Titan, Caminus.

Following a disastrous offworld expedition which led to the death of Amalgamous Prime, Prima realized that their colonization efforts have brought nothing but death and destruction instead of enlightenment, and sought to make peace with alien races. Megatronus Prime, however, believed that all forms of non-Cybertronian life were potential threats to Cybertron that needed to destroyed immediately. Megatronus tried to convince Solus Prime that he had been in the right, she rejected his explanations, arguing that the Primes needed to use their powers to "light the way," not destroy indiscriminately. This rejection pushed him towards the more receptive Liege Maximo, a betrayal that led to the two hatching a plan to take matters to their own hands by manipulating Quintus Prime to create soldiers like the Horrorcons for them to use in a crusade against all other lifeforms in the universe. After some wheedling from Megatronus, Solus decided to forge an heavily-armed Apex Armor known as the Stormbringer Armor as defense against future attacks.

Several months later, Liege Maximo reveals to Megatronus Prime that Solus Prime had already completed the Stormbringer Armor weeks earlier but had never been delivered to its intended recipient as she was reluctant to give him a such powerful weapon. Feeling betrayed by his lover, Megatronus goes to the Citadel of Light and confronts Solus Prime in a fit of rage. In the ensuing argument, Megatronus fired the Requiem Blaster without thinking, fatally wounding Solus Prime. Before Solus passed away, however, she professed her love for him. Solus's spark would rise from her body and melted its way underground to Cybertron's core, the passage it left behind became the Well of All Sparks. The fallout from this act would, in turn, spark the First Cybertronian Civil War, which would end with Liege Maximo being exiled from Cybertron and Megatronus Prime being trapped in eternal limbo by The Arisen.

After the war, the remaining Primes held a funeral for Solus Prime, along the rest of their fallen brethren such as Prima, Nexus Prime, and Amalgamous Prime, entombing their bodies within the Primal Basilica.

After the fall of the Thirteen, the Forge of Solus Prime, along with the rest of the Artifacts of the Primes, were taken under custody of the Knights of Cybertron. After the Knights's departure from Cybertron, they sealed within the Vaults of Iacon and much later on during the Third Cybertronian Civil War, Alpha Trion sent them, including the Forge, to Earth to keep them out of Decepticon hands and to be used by Optimus Prime and the Autobots in the near future.

Solus Prime's colony Caminus would develop a religion known as the Way of Flame. Based off the teachings and philosophies of Solus Prime, the religion deified the Thirteen Primes as gods and venerated Solus Prime as the greatest among this pantheon, beliving that every Camien's spark contained a fragment of Solus's essence. On death, the devout held that all sparks returned to Solus Prime's Forge, where it would be reincarnated as a new Cybertronian. The religious organization known as the Torchbearers considered themselves servants of Solus Prime and organized themselves into groups of six to commemorate Solus Prime's Creation Lathe.

Those descended from Solus Prime tend to be smaller and more streamlined. They are fast and agile without sacrificing all of their strength, and possess a wide assortment of alt-modes. They have a tremendous capacity for parellel processing and approach problems in a way that is unique among the Cybertronian lineages, Due to their physical appearance, Solus Prime's descendants appear to humans and several other organic lifeforms to be female and are often referred to as "femmes".
