Description
Designed for Brazilian military in the early 2040s, T79 never entered the service in line units. Chambered with powerful 7mmET cartridge, it proved to be somewhat of overkill for the infantry. Another problem was a slight overingineering, making the weapon too complicated and maintenance heavy. Despite those flaws it proved to be reliable in the hands of highly trained personnel and was widely adapted in various nation states special forces, especially in Brazil, Argentina, US and Australia. Modular and adaptable, can be customized to personal preferences of the shooter, comes in three verions: Assault rifle, carbine and designated marksman rifle. The standard magazine holds 50 7mmET rounds with ballistics, penetration and stopping power slightly overperforming those of the old 7.62x45 NATO round.
