From right to left. Here is the explanation on the creation of my OC Rein.
Species: Originally, Rein was a pegasus/unicorn. Not an Alicorn though, I just can't remember which was first. Due to the trend of being a trio, one friend was already a unicorn, and another a pegasus. I automatically turned into an earth pony to balance it out. The earth pony grew on me and it stuck ever since.
Body Color and Mane: Rein's first look was an all-blue color scheme with a hint of purple. She used to have a more Applejack-like mane. With the Pony maker flash that I grew accustom to at the time, it changed into Luna's. The recolor-look of it seemed unsettling, so overtime I tinkered with the mane until it looked like how it was now. The tail was more frizzy at the time and needed a smooth. Somehow Scootaloo's tail did the trick and it stuck. The dark pink/purple color scheme had me match the pastel pony theme a little more, it was simple. Although, I felt as though it was a shorter haired ,darkened version of pinkamena. The Rein now, I tried to make it as me as possible, without looking out of place. I did the best I could with the colors to match the dark but colorful look.
CutieMark: My first cutie mark was the unoriginal shooting star which was supposed to symbolize my dreaming trait, but how many of those have we seen already, not to mention it's just a background pony's cm recolored. My second cm, as seen in the mid pic, was made to be more me and original, though pretty abstract. The last cm, I made to give it a more clever visual. Fountain pen tips for my skills, a flower made from the tips for symbolizing my home, and the primary color spikes to be a caltrop, symbolizing my artsy talent and sneaky nature.
Things that didn't change: The most part that didn't change was the droopy eyelids and personality, introverted but cooperable if approached kindly.
Post-Rein: I just realized a day after I posted her redesign that she looks like she came out of the Oops! All Berries Cap'n Crunch cereal...Oopsie-daisy!
