They say, that when it comes to the nerdy, they sink into the shadows. And, to some extent, it's true for Harold Crest. He wasn't very popular, but he was smart. But his high school bully didn't care. Drake Drex often spent his evening giving poor Harold a swirly. But thankfully, Harold was so well liked due to his determination by his teachers, that Drake often got suspended a lot. But, Harold's life was about to change one day. In his class, there was a contest, whoever got the highest score on a 100 questions test, would get a scholarship and a tour for college paid for by a science organization. Naturally, Harold won. And he visited. But, Harold saw something weird on one of their computers. So he waited until they were gone, and he looked. And on the computer he saw stuff about giving humans extraordinary abilities, next to a tab about a super chip that can analyze all tech.😉 But, he also saw word about making deadly robots, to take out their competition. And Harold's mouth dropped. Harold knew he couldn't just let this happen. So, he snuck into a lab, and used a machine to give him powers. The ability to manipulate shadows. And he was ready to fight the science organization. Buuuuuut, they weren't using any robots. So Harold does small crimes like muggings. But at school, When Drake Drex tried to give him a swirly, a mysterious shadow of the toilet materialized into a person, and hit him in the back of the head. And Alex saw that nobody was there. And he fearfully ran.
