So my tablet stopped working today!....Why today??!!! I finally seem to have a bit of time to draw and it doesn't work...oh well....
Well at least today was a nice day at work, and things in work have been improved greatly, I'm going to sing up to college this March, and everything will come back to normal for me. And most important it's that I'm not receiving the huge charge of extra stress I was receiving from one person, so I don't think I have something to complain ^^
At least I can show you the sketches I did in January, all except for the pony one that I was trying to get ready yesterday, but it was so late and I had to go to sleep
Also, Estelle's drawing in the balcony (Jean's mom) was done last sunday.
So here are, Estelle, J's heads I was practicing and also the pony that...was supposed to be a surprise for a friend of mine but I couldn't finish it yesterday (for a reason I prefer not to talk about, it will just stress me if I do) but I still think it can be a good surprise even if I finish later. I might scann it and do it traditionally...or maybe it's just a temporal problem, I'll just try to plug it later and if not, will do some traditional work
I'm very happy to be able to practice different things that usually wouldn't do, and I cannot do, like doing heads from the front or pony drawings Practicing drawing a variety of things it's one of the best things an artist can do, so that's why I always recommend to draw fanart and giftarts for your friends of your friend's characters or landscapes or other things. Specially about stuff you cannot draw or it's difficult for you to draw. Because it's a fun challengue and it helps you so in the future you can be a versatile artist, who can draw in lots of varied styles.
For example, I didn't know how to draw ponies a year ago, but thanks to a friend of mine now I do So if someday I become a recognized artist (and I will) and someone asks me for a pony in a convention or something (and lots of people will ask for that be sure! ) then it will not be awkward cos I'll be able to draw it!
