"As long as I'm here they are the prey, and I am the hunter."Next piece in this month's patreon art pack, Flutterbat as the Demon Hunter. Now I can admit this was the only reason I went with monk Dash, I really wanted to draw Flutterbat as the Demon Hunter, mixed up some roles in the pack, but I think they still fit. Also, Halloween is coming up and we need more Flutterbat!

When I first saw this picture's icon--Fluttershy in full "demon-rage" mode, clad in the Demon Hunter's garb--I found myself thinking, "How the HELL did Artyl connect sweet and demure Fluttershy, the Stare and her moments of iron rebuking aside, to the hardcore and brooding Demon Hunter??"
Then I double-checked, and realized that you were referring to FlutterBAT--Fluttershy's more sinister and primal "other self," who--as the comics show us--has a will of her own, and a decidedly more sinister personality. THEN I found myself thinking, "Okay, yeah. I can actually SEE that."
Solid work, Atryl--I love how Flutterbat's creepy glowing eye is visible in the shadow of her hair and hood; not to mention the effort you've put in to show Flutters wearing proper Demon Hunter armor and wielding one of the Legendary-class crossbows from Diablo 3! That's the hallmark of a crossover where the author/artist put in the effort to get the facts right for both canons.
