this is the first time I've heard her called "Fiddlesticks", and I must say,
that's adorable as hell.

For the longest time, ever since they first showed her in the "Luna Eclipse" episode. I wanted to believe that was Octavia dressed up for Nightmare Night.
But they told me otherwise.

They actually have to go through a rigorous approval process to avoid trademark issues.
If no they do a bad job the Whole Autobot Jazz thing will happen again. (Short version the story Hasbro is not allowed to call Jazz by his name so they call him Autobot Jazz)

Actually naming a pony is harder than you think. They actually have to go through a rigorous approval process to avoid trademark issues. They somehow got a way with naming a pony Waterfire which should be big no because there is an sculpture/event called Waterfire in Rhode Island.

Even though she's only appeared very briefly so far in two episodes, I think I can say that she's already one of my favorite background characters. I absolutely adore how mellow she seems to be, how she's not losing track of the important things in life, how she's not going for trinkets and material wealth at the expense of joy and friendship and doing what you love.

I did not see her in season 2 ep 4 Luna Eclipsed until last week. Shes playing on the stage at the nightmare night caravel!! about 2:40 into the ep.

Yup! That's the other of the two episodes I was thinking of - Apple Family Reunion, of course, but also Luna Eclipsed, just briefly.
Pretty cool that they dug up the character again and reused her!
