I really like how the background is out of focus whilst the main subject matter is in focus... the contrast is pretty cool, in that sense.
I find the cool tone reflects the concept and mood quite well. I like how the leaves frame the piece and how you've managed to format it into a square to make it seem more balanced and whatnot.
